Toronto Paramedic Services was one of the first City Divisions to have a significant and professional web presence, thanks to the expertise of our staff. Over the past few years, based on research and public input, the City has also been implementing a new integrated design for its public website (www.toronto.ca) to ensure a more citizen-centric and service-focussed approach. It also provides a one-stop location for online users to find what they need from the City. Known as the Web Revitalization Project, its goals are to ensure that the City’s website will:

  • Provide a strong first impression for residents, businesses and visitors seeking information about City programs, services, initiatives and events
  • Be easily navigable, intuitive, visually appealing and searchable
  • Be designed to enhance usability and accessibility
  • Have a topic-based design that promotes integrated service delivery and improved customer service – information and services will be bundled together rather than being organized independently by division.

Due to this integrated design philosophy, Toronto Paramedic Services information will appear differently on the new web page than it does on our current site. For example, items like Paramedic or Call-Taker employment opportunities will now be found under the link “Jobs at the City”.

Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the new layout when it goes live. A message and link from www.torontoparamedicservices.ca will direct visitors from the old site to the new site for at least six months.

If you have any questions regarding the new site, please see the information page at http://insideto.toronto.ca/webrevitalization/faq.htm or speak to your Superintendent.
