Staffing Announcement – A/Commander, CACC Education & Quality Improvement

I am pleased to announce that Loretta Nielsen is the successful candidate for the Acting Commander, CACC Education & Quality Improvement (EDQI) expression of interest opportunity, effective November 15, 2023.

Loretta joined Toronto Paramedic Services in 2005 as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher. In 2010, Loretta joined the leadership team as an Acting Superintendent in EDQI and was promoted to Superintendent in the Communications Centre in 2012. Most recently, Loretta has worked as the Administrative Superintendent in the Communications Centre and has been a member of the Ministry of Health Provincial Review team since 2011.

Prior to joining Toronto Paramedic Services, Loretta worked at the Scarborough Health Network and the Ministry of Health Communication Centres in Oshawa and Lindsay.

Loretta holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and History from York University.
