Kevin Mills – completed journey across
Canada for Pedaling Possibilities

Hello Toronto Medics,

For those of you who didn’t know Kevin Mills, he was an ACP on SE Green for many years. In 2009, he was in an accident while swimming on vacation which left him quadriplegic.

If you knew him, you remember what an incredible person he was. Rock climber, marathon runner, fantastic medic and a sweetheart of a guy. If you stayed in touch, you know he’s still just as awesome, but he does it from a wheelchair. Since then, he has made a huge effort to break barriers and raise awareness for the disabled community.

His most recent, and most impressive adventure, was wheeling his way across Canada. It took him 120 gruelling days, but he finished a couple of weeks ago.

The City of Newmarket is putting on a hero’s welcome for him, which he completely deserves. Whether you knew him or not, come support him and learn about his trip on Thursday, Nov 2 at 7pm at The Old Town Hall (460 Botsford Street, Newmarket). Tickets are $25 and available at https://www.pedalingpossibilities.ca/
