Ryan holds NFPA certifications in Urban Search and Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, High Angle Rescue and Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and has volunteered on a search and rescue team since 2011. Ryan took on the role of Acting Superintendent in July 2021 and currently serves the community in District 1.

Rachel Janer

Rachel graduated from the Loyalist College Paramedic Program in 2003 and joined Toronto Paramedic Services in April of the same year. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Toronto in 1998 and is working to complete her Master of Business Administration with the Australian Institute of Business. Rachel became an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) in 2015 and an FTO in 2017.

Justin was certified as an ACP in 2020 and has been in a leadership role as an Acting Superintendent since October 2021, serving the community in the Part-time Program and in District 3. Ariel holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree and has overseas, medical, volunteer, and military experience. He spends his time off with his young family, listening to audiobooks, and gets way too competitive when playing baseball or his favourite strategy games.

Please join me in congratulating Andrew, Ryan, Rachel, Phillip, Justin and Ariel, and wishing them well in their new roles.

Sincerely,
