Staffing Announcement – Superintendent, Planning


I am pleased to announce that Dan Gagliotti is the successful candidate for the position of Superintendent, Planning, effective June 12, 2024.

Dan began his career with Toronto Paramedic Services in 2010 as a Primary Care Paramedic. He joined the leadership team in 2017 as an Acting Superintendent in Operations, working in District 1 and District 4. Since 2021, Dan has been an Acting Superintendent in the Planning Unit, where he has supported the Division’s response to major incidents, such as COVID-19, and has assisted in the design and delivery of multiple transit infrastructure projects. He is currently reviewing the Division’s Major Incident Plan and Business Continuity Plans and has most recently started work on the planning for FIFA World Cup 2026.

Dan is a graduate of the Centennial College PCP Program and has a degree in Disaster & Emergency Management from York University. Dan also has a certificate in Emergency Exercise Design and holds an Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) designation.
