Toronto Fire Services’ Black Staff Network has invited our Service to participate in their Black History Month Open House this weekend. The event is an opportunity for community members to learn more about careers in emergency services and check out some fun interactive displays and demonstrations!

The details are as follows:

• Date: Saturday, February 24, 2024
• Time: 11:00-15:00
• Location: Christopher J. Rubes Centre for Paramedic Studies, 895 Eastern Ave.

Our display will feature Paramedic equipment, an ambulance to tour (weather permitting), and CPR demonstrations. We are seeking staff from all areas of our Service (e.g., Operations, Communications, Fleet, Logistics, Equipment Services, Admin) to take part in the demos, share their experiences and answer questions from the public.
